Donna Lipshaw, Consultant, Project Partners

After graduating from University and trying out a few jobs in the Media I realised I was heading in the wrong direction. Working out my motivation for what I wanted to achieve from a job was the first step, I knew I wanted to use my mouth to earn me money…hence the step into Recruitment!

I had 10 months experience in another Recruitment company but moved to Project Partners to maximise my earnings and work in a culture more suited to me.

I joined the Training Academy which enabled me to perfect my sales techniques and really learn about the company and the sector I am working in. It was a great way to start my career here and gain confidence in the job I was going to embark on.

Just over three months on and the results have been amazing, I have placed six contractors in the contract team, seen my first commission cheque (which will soon be increasing!) gone on an incentive trip for lunch to Jamie Olivers restaurant in recognition of exceeding my target, was given £100 worth of vouchers to spend, been bought two shirts…and am hoping the list will go on.

Partners really believes in creating a fun environment and work balance which really seems to work. There is a great team spirit and it is a really encouraging environment to work in. There is huge potential to develop careers here, I have a clear direction of where I want to go and how I am going to get there. Next stop…the car incentive…hopefully there will be a Mini in my driveway very soon!
